Neighbourhood Guide
What to know about Miller.
The Miller neighbourhood is located within the Casselman-Heights District Outline Plan area. Manning Drive runs the length of the neighbourhood's eastern boundary and 50th Street runs the length of its western boundary, providing residents with access to other parts of the city. The nearby Clareview Light Rail Transit (LRT) station also provides good transit access.
Prior to urban development Miller was used for agriculture, but only a small portion of the area was actively cultivated. Two pipeline rights-of way cross the neighbourhood in the north, and their surfaces have been integrated with the pedestrian transportation network of the community. The school and park site located in the west-central area of the neighbourhood provides a large open space for residents. Additionally, a naturalized wetland park provides natural amenity space and a community focal point.
The City of Edmonton open-data release of the 2021 federal census records 3,295 residents in Miller. The count is filed under neighbourhood number 2541, in the Northeast district and the Dene ward. The census figure is the 2021 count, not a current population.
School designation for an address in Miller comes from Edmonton Public Schools or Edmonton Catholic Schools, not from this page. Each division publishes an address lookup because attendance areas change. The City neighbourhood profile describes parks, housing and streets. It is not a school-boundary map.
